APPALACHIAN HIGHLANDS
BOTANICAL ART EXHIBITION

The Appalachian Highlands is home to one of the most biologically diverse ecosystems in the United States. As artists, we draw our inspiration from this abundance and celebrate it. For this competition, we seek artistic works highlighting the natural botanical bounty, and that shows your unique creative interpretation of the theme and artistic ability.  Open to all media in the visual arts.

leaf & root & berry: an Appalachian Highlands Botanical Art Exhibition is a collaboration between Create Appalachia and HERBalachia in affiliation with the annual Sassafras Moon Herbal Festival in Erwin, Tennessee.
